The story takes place in the Lands Between, a world that is neither the mortal world nor the world between the mortal and spiritual realms. The Lands Between, located beyond the River Tartarus and inhabited by humans and monsters, is the setting for a world with its own distinct history and ancient myths. In this fantasy world you are a young man named Tarnished (alias Silver Gloves), who serves as a young warrior in the Black Wings of Tarnished, an order of warriors that protect the Lands Between.
In order to serve as a warrior in the Black Wings, you must purchase the Black Wings medal from the Black Wings Star, the Black Wings’ highest-ranking officer, who is also a demon. Tarnished, whose father is a demon in the Black Wings, hears the tales of the Black Wings at a young age. As a result, he grows up believing that the stories of the Black Wings are an exaggeration, and is determined to fulfill his dream of becoming a legendary Black Wings warrior.
In order to prove to the Black Wings’ higher-ups that he’s worthy to become a Black Wings warrior, Tarnished enters the Demon Hunter Battle Arena, which is a training facility for warriors in the Black Wings. At the battle arena, Tarnished faces off against 10 warriors, including Black Wings’ legendary warriors, who are all demons. Tarnished survives, but by doing so, he is forced to acknowledge that the stories of the Black Wings aren’t exaggerated.
This leads Tarnished to realize that he doesn’t need to fight demons to become a Black Wings warrior.
The initial events of the game take place in Tarnished’s hometown, which is a town located in the Lands Between.
As you progress through the game, you’ll have the opportunity to fight against familiar enemies and make allies with enemies.
You’ll use items that can be obtained throughout the game.
You can play the game alone, or online.
You can also enjoy the beautiful graphics in the game, and the brilliantly composed music.
The game is playable with full voice acting.
